もうすぐ6月17日…父の日がやって参りますね☆
本日は【父の日】の由来についてお話します(‘ω’)
父の日はアメリカのワシントン州で誕生！
今から100年以上前の1909年、ワシントン州に男手一つで6人の子供を育て上げた父親がいました。
父親の死後、長女のソノラ・スマート・ドッドは教会で、当時既に普及活動中だった母の日の説教を聞いている時に、
「父親に感謝する日もあるべきだ！」と考え、教会で父の日を祝う礼拝を行ったのがきっかけで始まりました。
皆様は知ってましたか？☺
感謝の気持ちをお伝えするのは、なかなか恥ずかしくて言えないですよね。
父の日だからこそ、日頃の感謝をお伝えしてみてはいかがでしょうか？(^^)/
